A hands-on, steady HR Generalist who is ready to step into a leadership role or is already operating at a junior HR Manager level. This is a highly visible position with the opportunity to grow into a formal HR Manager title over the next 2-3 years.

Description

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and compliance (TWC/EEOC, etc.)
  • Review and ensure accuracy of payroll processed through a third-party provider
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Act as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related questions or concerns
  • Assist with performance management processes, documentation, and employee communications
  • Support internal audits, reporting, and file maintenance in line with established company policies
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of HR processes and internal service delivery


Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (REQUIRED)
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience with hands-on exposure to payroll, benefits, and employee relations
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience in HR is strongly preferred
  • Experience using HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, HRO, or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with multi-family property management or real estate industry is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fully in-office role, Monday through Friday
