What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Responsible forproviding leadership andstrategic direction totheHuman Resources department. Partner with leadership to initiate, implement, and maintain programs and policies related totalent management, compensation/payroll,employment processing, health and welfare benefits, performance management, learninganddevelopment,employeerelations,HRIS(recordsmanagement), workforceplanning,metrics, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, labor relations and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the implementationofHR programs, policies,proceduresand practices that focus on attracting,retaininganddeveloping theemployee base.Thisleadership rolecarries with itpersonal andcorporate responsibilitytobuildandsustainarespectfulworkplace bycommunicating andenforcingorganizationvalues.
  • Complies withfederal, state,andlocallegalrequirements bystudying existing andnewlegislation;anticipatinglegislation;enforcingadherencetorequirements;managingaffirmativeactionprogram,advisingmanagement on needed actions.
  • Supportthelong-rangevisiontowardsdigitalization;maximizeHRsystemsandtechnologythatalign with the growth of the organization and delivery models.
  • Fosterandmanagestrategicpartnerships withHRvendorsandconsultantswhoprovideHRservicesandexpertise.
  • Developandmanageanannualbudgetforthedepartment andmanageexpenseswithinestablishedguidelines
  • Allotherdutiesassigned

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with demonstrated expertise across core HR functions, including talent management, compensation and payroll, employment processing, benefits administration, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, HRIS and records management, workforce planning, HR metrics, safety and health, succession planning, retention strategies, AA/EEO compliance, labor relations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Government contracting experience in an HR leadership role.
  • Experience supporting a global workforce, including employees outside the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven HR leadership and management capabilities, including the ability to anticipate organizational needs, design and implement effective solutions, and oversee complex employee relations matters.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex or atypical issues and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams and collaborate effectively across cross-functional organizations.
  • High level of initiative and adaptability, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development through participation in conferences, professional organizations, industry publications, and ongoing education.
  • Specialized skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, influencing, executive presentations, coaching, and counseling.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (UKG Pro preferred).
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions.
  • Experience supporting CMMI and ISSO certification efforts.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related
  • Ability to obtain a clearance; this will require US Citizenship
