Bilingual HR Business Partner (English/Spanish)
Location: On‑site | Passaic County, NJ
Salary: $110,000–$115,000 base + bonus (TBD)
Our client is hiring a Bilingual HR Business Partner who can operate as a true advisor to leadership while staying connected to a diverse, frontline-heavy workforce. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you’ll influence decisions, drive culture, and partner across the business.
You’ll report into senior leadership and help guide an HR team environment—not operate in a silo.
What You’ll Do
You’re the bridge between leadership and the workforce—and you know how to flex depending on who’s in front of you.
- Partner closely with business leaders to develop and execute people strategy
- Act as a consultative HRBP, coaching leaders through employee relations, performance, and workforce planning decisions
- Build credibility at every level—from warehouse floor employees to senior leadership
- Support and guide performance management processes (you’re not pushing paperwork—you’re driving outcomes)
- Identify risks early, especially around employee relations and engagement, and bring solutions to the table
- Drive culture, accountability, and engagement across a fast-paced operational environment
- Partner as part of a collaborative HR team—this is not a standalone role
- Leverage HR data (UKG or similar) to inform decisions and strategy
- Support proactive union avoidance efforts through strong employee relations practices and leadership coaching
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
- 1–4 years of prior HR Generalist experience (solid foundation across core HR functions)
- Recent experience working within a collaborative HR team (not a solo HR lead)
- Proven ability to coach, influence, and advise leaders—you’re not transactional
- Strong employee relations background, ideally within a warehouse, manufacturing, or operational environment
- Ability to switch gears seamlessly—polished with leadership, relatable and credible with frontline employees
- Experience supporting or driving union avoidance strategies through engagement, communication, and ER practices
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS preferred
