This person will support approximately 250 to 300 employees within a fast-paced freight brokerage environment
The role will partner closely with operations leaders to coach managers, support employee engagement, and help drive retention
This individual will be heavily involved in employee relations, performance management, compliance, staffing strategy, and organizational change
The business has recently integrated acquired teams, creating a need for HR leadership around manager coaching, hiring practices, and workforce alignment
This is a hands-on HRBP role, requiring someone comfortable being close to the employee population and directly involved in day-to-day business needs
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced operational environment
Experience supporting large employee populations, ideally 250+ employees across multiple levels and functions
Strong employee relations, performance management, retention, and manager coaching experience
Ability to partner closely with recruiting and operations teams on staffing, workforce planning, and organizational changes
Background in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, startup, or other high-volume environments would translate well
Hands-on, flexible, and independent HR professional who can operate without heavy oversight and adapt quickly as business needs shift
