Healthcare Litigation Associate (3–7 Years Experience)

A well establish law firm in New York is seeking a motivated and skilled Healthcare Litigation Associate to join their growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and meaningful cases representing healthcare providers and healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an active caseload with minimal supervision from inception through resolution
• Draft and respond to pleadings
• Conduct written and depositions-based discovery
• Handle motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions
• Perform detailed medical record review and case analysis
• Collaborate with and prepare expert witnesses
• Participate in trial preparation and attend trial as opportunities arise

Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of litigation experience
• Experience in medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, or allied health matters preferred
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Experience working with medical records and expert witnesses
