To support this next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and finance process improvement initiatives.


The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership and ownership to help build a best-in-class finance organization capable of supporting a growing healthcare platform.

Position Overview

The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for a private equity-backed healthcare services platform. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, managing cash flow and working capital processes, and supporting strategic decision-making through timely and accurate financial information.


This is a highly visible role with direct interaction with executive leadership, lenders, external auditors, and Albaron Partners.


Primary Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions

• Maintain accounting policies and procedures to support a growing organization

• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital planning

• Develop financial reporting packages for executive leadership, lenders, and ownership

• Monitor key operational and financial performance indicators

• Partner with operational leaders to improve reporting visibility and decision-making

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls

• Coordinate annual audits and tax-related activities

• Support lender reporting requirements and covenant compliance

• Assist with financial diligence, integration activities, and other strategic initiatives as needed

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and scalability

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes


Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager experience

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP

• Experience managing audits and month-end close processes

• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency


Preferred

• CPA designation

• Healthcare services experience

• Multi-site or multi-entity accounting experience

• Experience working with Sage ERP systems

• Experience within a private equity-backed company

• Experience supporting periods of rapid growth and operational scale

• Base Salary: $100,000–$125,000
