We're partnering with a growing, mission-driven organization seeking a Controller to join its finance leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, internal controls, cash management, and team development while partnering closely with the CFO to support organizational growth and strategic initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, cash management, and reconciliations
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and reporting packages
• Manage audits, internal controls, compliance, and regulatory reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies
• Lead and mentor accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience
• Experience overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, audits, AP, AR, and payroll
• Background in healthcare, nonprofit, multi-site, or similarly complex organizations preferred
• CPA a plus
