Controller
Expanding Charlotte privately held corporate office is hiring a Controller to join the accounting and finance team. You will be managing and mentoring the accounting team and will oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, and strategic financial analysis. Salary up to $130K, plus bonus, and great benefits offered!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, and Administrative staff
- Monitor and manage company cash flow
- Oversee floor plan financing and reporting requirements with the company's primary lender
- Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to ownership and leadership
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Conduct sales and profitability analysis
- Support strategic planning and business decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
