The Opportunity

We're partnering with a highly respected consumer brand seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function and serve as a key financial leader within the organization.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and operating as both a strategic partner and a hands-on operator. You'll oversee the integrity of financial reporting, guide the close and audit processes, strengthen internal controls, and help shape the future of the finance organization.

What You'll Own

Financial Leadership

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, and management reporting packages.
• Ensure financial reporting is timely, accurate, and aligned with U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.

Accounting Operations

• Drive continuous improvement across accounting processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Own technical accounting research, policy development, and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Oversee cash management and accounts payable functions.

Audit & Compliance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Lead annual audit preparation, execution, and completion.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and support organizational compliance initiatives.

Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Create scalable processes that support business growth.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What Makes Someone Successful Here

✔ CPA designation

✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

✔ 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience

✔ Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting

✔ Experience leading audits, close processes, and accounting operations

✔ Proven ability to build processes, improve systems, and drive efficiencies

✔ Comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also operating strategically

✔ Exceptional communication skills and executive presence

✔ Experience leading and developing teams
