Job OverviewWe are seeking a Grinder / Shop Laborer to join a fast-paced finishing department. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for grinding, deburring, and smoothing welded components, while also assisting with general shop duties such as material handling and occasional work in the wood shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, takes pride in producing quality finished parts, and is interested in learning multiple areas of fabrication over time.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing facility producing items such as park benches, playground equipment, fitness equipment, slides, and trash receptacles. The shop is partially open to the elements, meaning temperatures may vary with the seasons. Employees work around fabrication equipment, grinders, drills, saws, and material-handling tools, with time split between metal fabrication and wood shop areas. Proper safety gear and appropriate industrial work attire are required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
