Job Title: Tool and Die Machinist
Job Description
The Tool and Die Machinist is responsible for constructing and repairing tooling, machining special or short-run parts, and assisting with the build, design, and repair of dies, jigs, and tools using blueprints, drawings, and schematics. This role involves fabricating small quantities of prototype, modified, or specialty parts and requires working with close tolerances. The machinist will apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures to produce quality precision parts and tools. Additionally, the role includes repairing equipment, machines, and performing maintenance, including repairs or modifications to tools and dies.

Work Environment
Dress code includes jeans or work pants, t-shirts without holes, and safety gear such as shoes, hearing, and eye protection. The facility is non-temperature controlled but comfortable, although it may become warm in the fabrication area during summer months.
