Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Personnel Management
- Supervise daily activities of direct reports, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed on schedule.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing coaching, and manage conflict resolution.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, including overtime management and shift rotations.
- Facilitate training programs to ensure the team is proficient in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
2. Asset & Resource Management
- Maintain accountability for all physical assets within the assigned span of control (e.g., machinery, vehicles, specialized tools, or inventory).
- Oversee preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend asset lifecycles.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement requests to ensure the team has necessary supplies.
- Conduct regular audits of equipment and facility conditions.
3. Operational Excellence
- Identify bottlenecks in current processes and implement streamlined solutions to improve throughput.
- Ensure all operations remain compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal safety standards (OSHA, etc.).
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as labor efficiency, error rates, and resource utilization.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience in an operations, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Leadership: At least 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity with a proven track record of managing direct reports.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: * Proficiency in ERP/MRP software or Asset Management Systems.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
● Must be able to navigate a warehouse or production floor for extended periods.
