Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end close activities in partnership with an external accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


Full Charge Bookkeeper Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Process customer invoicing and monitor collections
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  • Record journal entries and prepare month-end schedules
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain cash management reports
  • Manage sales tax filings and related compliance requirements
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for management review
  • Work closely with the company's outside CPA/accounting firm to facilitate month-end and year-end close process
  • Assist with budgeting, audits, and special accounting projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience preparing financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks required (Online or Desktop)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
