Front Desk Agent at Holiday Inn Express & Suites is the primary point of contact for guests, responsible for providing "True Hospitality" through exceptional service and efficient administrative support.

Core Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Provide a warm welcome, manage check-ins/outs, and handle guest inquiries or complaints with a positive attitude.
  • Reservations & Billing: Create and manage bookings, process cash and credit transactions, and ensure accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Brand Loyalty: Promote the IHG One Rewards program by acknowledging members and enrolling new guests.
  • Operational Support: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness, manage the front desk bank, and keep the lobby area clean and organized.
  • Local Expertise: Act as a source of local knowledge, providing directions and recommendations for nearby attractions and dining.


Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Prior customer service or hospitality experience is beneficial but often not required for entry-level roles.
  • Skills: Strong communication, basic math, and computer literacy.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift if needed and lift up to 25–50 pounds.
