Role Description The Front Office Manager Receptionist role at Thomas-Walters, PLLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Worth, TX. This role is responsible for greeting and welcoming clients and visitors, managing check-in procedures, and creating a professional, supportive first impression of the firm. Daily tasks include answering and directing phone calls, responding to voicemail and basic email inquiries, and routing messages to appropriate team members. The Front Desk Receptionist will handle scheduling and confirming client appointments, maintaining an organized reception area, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Additional responsibilities include performing general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, scanning documents, and supporting attorneys and staff with routine administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and a client-centered approach.

Qualifications


  • Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and managing visitor flow in a professional setting.
  • Law firm experience a plus, but not required.
  • Professional appearance required.
  • Proficient Clerical Skills such as filing, data entry, scheduling, and handling mail and office correspondence.
  • Excellent Phone Etiquette, including answering, screening, and directing calls with a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor.
  • Clear, respectful Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, visitors, and team members.
  • Customer Service mindset focused on empathy, patience, and professionalism, especially when assisting clients who may be experiencing loss or stress.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize multiple tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with basic computer applications (e.g., email, calendars, word processing); experience with legal or professional office software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer-facing role; experience in a legal or professional services environment is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration or related fields is an advantage.
