Front Desk Manager

• Building and nurturing a performance driven, guest-oriented, culture at the front desk.
• Assisting in managing all aspects of front desk operations and team members, including selections, training and development, scheduling, and managing performance with guidance of the Rooms Division Manager.
• Greeting guests, answering telephones, and checking guests in and out.  Resolving more complex guest requests or concerns that may arise.
• Preparing proactively for guest arrivals, in coordination with the housekeeping, sales, food & beverage, and other operating departments.
• Assisting with baggage handling, valet and shuttle service, as needed.

• Previous front desk supervisor or management experience is required.
• Experience in a full-service hotel setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with PEP Property Management System strongly preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
• Ability to cover any shift in the event of call-offs or other operational needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage effectively and develop strong working relationships with up to 10 direct reports.
• Ability to lift or exert force of up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to be detail-oriented and visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to be highly visible and interact with guests for the majority of the shift.
