We're looking for a Financial Operations Associate to help us run a clean, accurate, high-functioning finance function across a dynamic, revenue-generating media business.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Financial Operations Associate based in New York, NY, with flexibility to work from home for certain tasks.

This role focuses on maintaining accurate, consistent financial operations across a high-volume, partnership-driven media business.

You will work closely with leadership, to support the systems that track revenue, manage billing, and ensure financial clarity across the organization.

Tasks You'll Own:

• Invoicing across brand partnerships, sponsorships & campaigns
• Accounts receivable tracking & follow-up
• Revenue reconciliation across shows, clients & platforms
• Contractor payments & revenue share calculations
• Vendor payments & expense management
• Monthly close support & P&L reporting

Qualifications:

• Have hands-on accounting experience in a growing business
• Are highly proficient in QuickBooks
• Understand campaign- or project-based revenue models
• Can manage multiple financial workflows with accuracy and speed
• Thrive in lean, fast-moving environments

Bonus: Experience in media, podcasting, agencies, or creator/talent payment structures

Compensation: $40–$65/hour (commensurate with experience)
