Marketing Specialist (3-Month Contract)
Location: Hybrid (as applicable)
Duration: 3-Month Contract - 20hr/wk
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support field and experiential marketing initiatives for a leading organization in the insurance industry. This role will work closely with marketing leadership to help plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns, community activations, events, and customer engagement programs.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of field and experiential marketing campaigns.
- Assist with promotional plans, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate onsite events, including setup, activation, breakdown, and post-event reporting.
- Track and report marketing metrics, leads, KPIs, and campaign performance.
- Assist with content development and marketing communications for internal stakeholders and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, agencies, and external partners to execute marketing strategies.
- Support budget management and resource coordination for marketing programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and campaign effectiveness.
- Build presentations and reports to communicate results and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, campaign management, field marketing, or related areas.
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, customer segmentation, and analytics.
- Knowledge of direct, digital, advertising, media, or experiential marketing channels.
- Experience tracking campaign performance and reporting marketing metrics.
- Experience working in a regulated industry preferred.
- Strong project coordination, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable collaborating with internal teams, clients, agencies, and external partners.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift and transport marketing materials and event equipment as needed.
- Willingness to travel to support meetings, events, and community activations.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for marketing events.
