We are a privately operated family office overseeing a long-term global portfolio; operating companies, family trusts, and evergreen investment holding structures across the U.S. and India. Our work is defined by long horizons, careful stewardship, and a deep operating culture.


THE ROLE

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take meaningful ownership over the day-to-day accounting function across our family of entities. You will be the operator who keeps the books accurate, audit-ready, and intelligible, working with external CPA and tax advisors, and trusted with full visibility into the financial picture of the office.


WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Multi-entity books. Maintain accurate accounting records across operating companies, holding LLCs, and trust structures, each with its own bank accounts, filings, and stakeholders.
  • Monthly close and reconciliations. Drive a clean, repeatable monthly close across entities and lead reconciliations end to end.
  • Prepare financial statements and internal reporting for the principal, surfacing the things we should be paying attention to.
  • Manage payables, expense tracking, and payment processing. Support cash positioning across entities.
  • Be the day-to-day point of contact with our external CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors on filings, support requests, and reporting cycles.
  • Identify and implement improvements: better workflows, cleaner documentation, smarter use of tools. We expect this seat to make the function better than they found it.
  • AI-enabled workflows. You'll work alongside AI tools for reporting and analysis, and help shape how we use them.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a clear arc of increasing responsibility
  • CPA designation, or actively pursuing
  • Bachelor's in accounting
  • Experience across multiple entities, investment structures, or trusts. Public accounting candidates with relevant client exposure are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable systems; comfort across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Genuine comfort and openness to learn about AI tools. We work with these tools daily and expect you to lean into them.
  • Excellent communication
  • The judgment, discretion, and mature professionalism the role demands. This is a high-trust seat.


WORK STRUCTURE

  • Full-time position
  • Hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence
  • Candidates located nearby with reliable transportation preferred
  • $100,000-$130,000 compensation package, dependent on CPA designation and experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%
