We're seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to support the design and installation of mechanical utility systems within one of the most advanced manufacturing environments in the world. This role will focus on facility infrastructure supporting complex manufacturing equipment, cleanroom operations, and facility upgrades.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop mechanical facility systems supporting manufacturing operations
- Create layouts and construction packages for:
- HVAC systems
- Hydronic systems
- Process piping
- Exhaust systems
- Plumbing systems
- Fire protection systems
- Process chemical and gas distribution systems
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and component selection
- Support manufacturing tool installations and facility infrastructure upgrades
- Coordinate with equipment vendors, contractors, facility stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Review RFIs, submittals, and support construction activities through project completion
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- 3+ years of mechanical facilities engineering experience
- Experience with HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, or related facility systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment installations
- AutoCAD and Navisworks proficiency
- Industrial facility field experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
