Job Description

Join our team in the manufacturing and assembly of Industrial Power Systems in a heavy-industrial manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of systems, working with sheet metal and assembling metal enclosures. Utilize your skills with hand and power tools to build units based on blueprints. This role requires teamwork, precision, and the ability to stand, stoop, and bend throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems.
• Work with sheet metal and assemble metal enclosures.
• Use hand and power tools, including drills, tape measures, screwdrivers, wrenches, and impact tools.
• Assemble units based on blueprints.
• Collaborate with team members for effective assembly.
• Stand, stoop, and bend to access various unit assemblies.
• Perform assembly tasks inside large units, approximately 8 ft. tall.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Capability to read a tape measure is required.
• Physical ability to stand for the entire shift and lift 50+ pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in blueprint reading is advantageous.
• Prior experience in manufacturing assembly is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a large, open bay production facility featuring multiple workstations and bays. The environment is not climate-controlled, though industrial ceiling fans are present to circulate air. Safety is a priority; safety shoes, glasses, and earplugs are required, especially in louder areas around CNC machinery and other equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Jacksonville,FL.
