Fabricator-WelderPay Rate:$22+/Hr. + DOE
Shift: Monday through Friday
In Fort MyersWe are looking for a skilled Welder to join our client's team. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of metal assembly, from interpreting blueprints and prepping materials to executing high-quality welds and finishing final products.
Fabricator-Welder Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and decode schematics, engineering prints, and technical manuals to identify build needs
- Gauge, trim, form, and join metal parts utilizing a range of specialized machinery and hand tools
- Execute MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques on materials such as carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless alloys
- Construct metal frameworks and components in alignment with design plans and excellence benchmarks
- Examine finished joints and assemblies to verify they satisfy all durability and safety criteria
- Utilize torches, saws, abrasive grinders, and fabrication gear with a focus on safety and productivity
- Adhere to all workplace safety mandates and consistently utilize required protective gear
- Work alongside colleagues to deliver assignments according to schedule and technical requirements
Fabricator-Welder Key Required Qualifications:
- Background in metal fabrication or similar welding roles
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit for heavy lifting and long periods of standing
- Independent problem-solver with a proactive work ethic
- Relevant welding certifications highly preferred
- Strict adherence to all workplace safety protocols
