Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Executive Director at East Bank Learning Center, based in South Bend, IN. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, implementing and maintaining educational programs, and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards. The Executive Director will also focus on building and maintaining relationships with families and the local community, managing budgets, and ensuring the optimal development, safety, and well-being of all students.

Qualifications
  • Leadership and management skills, including team leadership, staff development, and operational oversight
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, educational best practices, and curriculum implementation (e.g., HighScope curriculum)
  • Expertise in compliance with licensing regulations and familiarity with NAEYC accreditation processes
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and networking skills with families, staff, and the community
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Experience in a similar leadership role in early childhood education is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
