Executive Assistant to Founder


Location: Farmers Branch, TX (In Office)

Compensation: $125,000 – $145,000 + Exceptional Benefits


A highly respected real estate development finance firm is seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant to support its Founder and CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a dynamic entrepreneurial leader and play a key role in helping maximize his time, priorities, and business impact.


The firm is a tight-knit, fast-paced organization of approximately 10 employees that works with a diverse group of clients. The team operates in a collaborative, high-performance environment where professionalism, discretion, and strong execution are essential.


This role is ideal for a confident, proactive Executive Assistant who enjoys working closely with an entrepreneurial executive and thrives in an environment where no two days look the same.


About the Role

The Executive Assistant will serve as a trusted partner to the Founder, helping manage day-to-day priorities, coordinate complex schedules, and ensure the executive’s time is used as effectively as possible.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in managing up, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with a driven and highly engaged executive.


This role is primarily executive support with occasional personal logistics assistance.


Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Manage a complex and ever-changing calendar
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare the executive for meetings and ensure schedule alignment throughout the day
  • Provide proactive reminders and help keep priorities on track
  • Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison between the executive and key contacts


Coordination & Organization

  • Track action items and follow up on commitments
  • Assist with meeting logistics and scheduling across multiple parties
  • Help maintain organization across communications and priorities
  • Support general administrative coordination for the executive


Travel & Logistics

  • Assist with travel coordination and related logistics
  • Manage scheduling adjustments when travel plans shift
  • Support transportation and logistical needs as required


Occasional Personal Support

  • Assist with occasional personal errands or logistics when needed


The Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years of Executive Assistant experience
  • Experience supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive in a small or entrepreneurial company
  • Strong calendar management and organizational skills
  • Highly proactive with excellent follow-through
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable managing priorities with senior leadership
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A natural driver who takes ownership, moves things forward, and is comfortable holding priorities and schedules accountable


Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting executives involved in business development or client-facing leadership
  • Exposure to government, political, or public-sector environments is a plus
  • Comfortable using Apple Mail and Apple Calendar (along with Microsoft Office)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $120,000 – $145,000 (DOE)
