Provide technical support and guidance on energy-efficient technologies and practices to customers, architects, engineers, contractors, and trade allies participating in utility-sponsored programs; communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Assist in the preparation and review of technical specifications and engineering calculations for commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects.
Validate energy savings calculations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with program requirements and applicable technical reference manuals.
Monitor assigned project pipeline and ensure timely progression of projects; maintain accurate and up-to-date records by promptly logging all review activities and updates in the CRM system.
Support the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and customers.
Maintain regular communication with participating service providers and consultants to understand needs and gather program feedback.
Support and, as needed, conduct program trainings for prospective participants.
Assist in evaluating building plans, specifications, and whole-building efficiency strategies, and contribute to recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.
Prepare project status reports to track activities and support monitoring of progress toward program goals.
Coordinate with and support program Quality Assurance activities, including inspections and customer surveys.
Will travel within Client’s territory and must have reliable transportation.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Responsible for maintenance and fees of the transportation vehicle.

Internship or project experience in commercial construction, utilities, or energy programs
Progress toward or interest in certifications such as LEED or CEM
Experience & Education Minimums
New Jersey State resident (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Energy, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field
0–5 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency, building systems, utility sector, or a related field (Junior 0-3 years of experience and Mid-level 4+ years of experience)
