Job Description
Job Responsibilities**
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, on several types of high-speed automated manufacturing equipment, and fixtures, adhering to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions, utilizing a variety of testing devices to identify causes of trouble and ensure timely repairs.
  • Calibrate and adjust electrical components and equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams to understand system layouts and perform work accurately.
  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on various electrical systems, including motors, control panels, lighting systems, and production machinery.
  • Must have working knowledge of high voltage, switch gears and Sub-Station equipment. Must be able to operate digital test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, DMM’s and analyzers/data loggers.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, and proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Must be able to execute and improve asset strategies and help to evaluate, develop, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) routes, make recommendation on spare parts strategies and be able to develop and execute focused improvement plans during outage opportunities.
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Job Qualifications**
  • Must have State Electrical Journeyman papers and/or Electrical Technician, NFPA 70E Training.
  • Must have Three (3) plus years of experience troubleshooting process equipment in industrial maintenance and or in a manufacturing operation, etc.
  • Must have high value and display a sense of urgency to complete projects and tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Must be able to work various shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
