Our client in Fort Worth is looking to add an Electrical Maintenance Technician to their growing team.

A Journeyman Electrical license is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote working in a safe manner including completing JSA’s and developing safe work plans for hazardous situational work, establishing designated work zones with posted signage, communicating hazards adequately to nearby employees, utilizing proper PPE, initiating stop-work practices in unsafe situations, reporting incidents and injuries promptly, and confronting unsafe acts and situations related to contractor work.
- Responsible for planning, assembling, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in an industrial setting, including AC/DC voltages, single and 3-phase, and wireless equipment
- Calibrate, install, and maintain transmitters, transducers, and other sensing equipment
- Make recommendations for the improvement of the operation of existing electrical systems and designs/layouts for future electrical systems including researching, developing plans, and submitting purchasing requests
- Perform PM’s, troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and installations to industrial electrical systems including electrical components of mechanical systems, for systems up to 600 VAC, and for control systems up to 50 VDC, motor and motor controls, HVAC, lighting, access controls, cameras, and other equipment. This will require weekly and monthly inspections of equipment and good record keeping ability
- Assist in on-the-job training of apprentice electricians, technicians, and uphold company expectations of contractors
- Adhere to the company Lock out/Tag out program, work with Arc Flash equipment, and other OSHA requirements and standards
- Participate in ariel work, overhead lifting activities, loading and unloading of equipment, and other setup and relocation of heavy equipment or objects
- Light plumbing, fabricating, painting, housekeeping, groundskeeping, facilities inspection overhead doors repairs, events setup and teardown, inclement weather preparations, assisting other tradesman and emergency repairs
- Promoted good housekeeping including adherence to Bloodborne Pathogens standards and maintain an organized work area
- Coordinate with external vendors
- Maintain compliance with Federal and State Environmental regulations and agencies within company guidelines
- Operate forklift, scissor/boom man lifts, company vehicles and other necessary equipment to perform job duties
- Able to work periodic weekends and evenings to accomplish certain tasks in non-production hours to minimize the impact to production
- Motivated self-starter who can manage tasks and projects and make decisions, and is also willing to be a part of a high performing team
Education/Experience:
- Possess Journeyman Electrical license
- At least 5 years Journeyman Electrician experience, Industrial Electrical experience preferred
- Must be able to use multi-meters, meggar, amp probe, thermal imaging devices and other instruments used in troubleshooting electrical equipment
- Basic knowledge of National Electrical Code
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in some type of maintenance support in manufacturing environment
- Ability to remain flexible in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to read/comprehend electrical schematics and technical information
- Work effectively as a team member
- Prioritize and complete multiple tasks and responsibilities
