Electrical Engineer – Capital Project
Location: On-site in Fond du Lac, WI or Green Bay, WI
Travel: Approximately 30%
Compensation: $85,000–$120,000 Base Salary + Annual Bonus
A Fortune 500 manufacturing leader is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its growing engineering team and support capital projects across multiple manufacturing facilities.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on manufacturing equipment, automation systems, controls projects, electrical infrastructure, and large-scale equipment installations. The position offers significant ownership and visibility while supporting projects from planning through startup and commissioning.
What You'll Do
- Lead electrical and automation-related capital projects
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and production line expansions
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams
- Assist with project planning, equipment selection, and implementation
- Support startup, commissioning, FAT/SAT activities, and operational handoff
- Troubleshoot and support manufacturing electrical systems and equipment
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Travel to manufacturing facilities as needed to support project execution
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Experience supporting industrial electrical, controls, automation, or manufacturing equipment projects
- Experience with commissioning, startup, equipment installation, or plant projects
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%
