This role offers a structured Electrical Assembly Apprentice Training Academy that prepares you to assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and switchgear systems. You will learn to read and interpret point‑to‑point wiring schematics and diagrams for 480V, 120V, and 24V systems, and gain hands-on experience with crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing UL panels and sub‑assemblies. After successfully completing the training, you will work in a dedicated cell unit on 2nd shift, performing electrical assembly and real-time testing of customer-specific equipment.
Responsibilities
You will join an organization that invests heavily in employee growth through a structured training academy and clear career paths, where leaders have advanced from entry-level roles into executive positions. The company offers an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings options, paid time off, and sick pay. You will enjoy additional perks such as a rideshare program, biweekly pay once permanent, and access to a free on-site gym and recreation center with activities like cornhole, ping pong, and a basketball court. The culture emphasizes taking care of people, supporting development, and providing a clean, modern, and well-equipped environment where you can build a long-term career.
Work Environment
The role begins with a two‑week on‑site training academy held in a classroom-style lab environment, where you will learn safety practices, electrical wiring fundamentals, standard protocols, and point‑to‑point reading and labeling techniques using both paper-based materials and hands-on exercises. During training, you will practice using tools to add ferrules, crimp, terminate, and land wiring, as well as align wiring in panels for proper tracing. Expectations mirror a professional training or classroom setting, with a focus on attentiveness, professionalism, and adherence to conduct guidelines. The initial training schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. After training, you will transition to 2nd shift, working Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The production environment is extremely clean and temperature controlled, with electrical assembly work performed at cell stations featuring large, organized work areas. Teams typically consist of 5–7 technicians per work cell who collaborate to assemble units according to customer specifications. The company supplies all necessary tools and materials, so you do not need to bring personal tools. Dress and conduct are expected to be professional and appropriate for a clean, safety-focused industrial setting.
