Overview
Celanese ishiringan Early Careers Recruiter to lead and grow our campus and early talent recruiting strategy across the Americas. This highly visible role plays a critical part in building strong partnerships with universities, engagingstudentsand early career professionals, and attracting top talent into internships, co-ops, apprenticeships, and full-time roles.
The Early Careers Recruiter works closely with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition leadership, and business stakeholders whilerepresentingCelanese on campus and in the broader community. This role combines hands-on recruiting execution with program management, event planning, and system ownership.
Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Early Careers Recruitment (Americas)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for internships, co-ops, apprenticeships, and early career roles
- Lead recruiting for summer internships, co-ops, and apprenticeships
- Own requisitions, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, manage offers, andmaintaincandidate communications
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Intern & Early Careers ProgramPlanning
- Lead intern onboarding initiatives
- Plan and execute fall recruiting events, including career fairs,logistics, marketing collateral, and staffing
- Design and manage the summer internship program including:
- Orientation and onboarding
- Speaker series and development sessions
- Performance management processes
- Coordination and training forall stakeholders
Manage intern-to-full-time conversion process,including:
- Candidate location education and preferences
- Placement planning aligned with early careers and manufacturing leadership needs
- Offer creation and management
University & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships with universities, student organizations, and campus partners
- Represent Celanese at campus events, career fairs, and community engagements
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and internal stakeholders on early careers hiring strategies
CRM Ownership & Talent Technology Support
- Own and manage the Talent Acquisition CRM for pipeline development and candidate engagement
- Create andmaintaincommunication templates and system configuration
- Develop and deliver training for TA users
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CRM-related questions and improvements
ATS Support
- Support the iCIMS Business Process Owner with:
- Process improvements
- User acceptance testing
- Reporting and analytics
- Data integrity audits
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (early careers or campus recruiting experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume internandearly-career recruiting pipelines
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and college recruitment platforms
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Ability and willingness to travel during peak recruiting seasons
