Our client is a rapidly growing boutique wealth management and tax group. We are seeking an experienced Director of Advisory Operations to lead the day-to-day management and operational execution of our wealth management firm. This individual will serve as a key leader and the primary liaison between the President/Lead Advisor and staff, ensuring the team operates efficiently, cohesively, and at a high level.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and directly manage staff, ensuring accountability, productivity, and alignment across the team
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive, high-performing work environment
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the President and staff, handling day-to-day decision-making and team management
  • Implement and maintain operational processes, policies, and procedures consistent with industry best practices
  • Ensure smooth execution of workflows across the advisory business, identifying and addressing inefficiencies
  • Maintain familiarity with broker-dealer (Cetera) environments and advisory compliance standards
  • Oversee and optimize the firm's technology stack, including CRM and AI tools, to improve performance and scalability


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 7-10+ years of experience within an investment advisory or financial services firm
  • Strong leadership experience with direct responsibility for managing teams and day-to-day staff operations
  • Deep understanding of advisory firm operations, policies, and procedures
  • Broker-dealer experience preferred
  • Securities licenses are a plus
  • Technologically proficient, with experience leveraging CRM systems and modern tools
  • Experience with Redtail, AdviceWorks, NetDocuments, and MS Office suite is a plus

Comp/Benefits:

  • Base salary (commensurate with experience) plus bonus based on performance
