We are partnering with a high-growth, mission-driven consumer brand seeking an E-Commerce Director to own and scale its direct-to-consumer (DTC) business.


This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the eCommerce channel, from site performance and digital marketing to operations and fulfillment, and transform it into a scalable, profitable revenue driver.


What You’ll Do

Own the DTC Business

  • Own the end-to-end DTC P&L, including revenue, margins, and performance
  • Build and execute a strategic roadmap to scale the eCommerce business
  • Establish clear visibility into SKU-level profitability and performance

Drive Growth & Digital Performance

  • Lead customer acquisition across paid media, CRM (email/SMS), and other channels
  • Optimize conversion rate, AOV, and retention across the funnel
  • Oversee site merchandising, product pages, and overall user experience
  • Partner with internal teams and agencies to improve marketing efficiency and ROI

eCommerce & Customer Experience

  • Own the website experience end-to-end, including content, navigation, and checkout flow
  • Ensure strong communication of product value, promotions, and brand messaging
  • Translate customer insights into improvements across the digital experience

Operations & Fulfillment

  • Oversee demand planning, inventory strategy, and 3PL fulfillment
  • Ensure operational readiness for product launches, promotions, and growth
  • Optimize shipping, logistics, and cost efficiency

Analytics & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Build and manage reporting across traffic, conversion, CAC, AOV, LTV, and margin
  • Use data to inform decisions and provide clear recommendations to leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, sales, and product teams
  • Bring structure and process to a fast-moving, evolving business


What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce/DTC, digital, or omni-channel roles
  • Experience owning or influencing a P&L and key growth metrics
  • Strong understanding of DTC economics (CAC, AOV, margins, retention)
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar platforms
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or similar categories is a plus
