About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Integration Field Support Technician to support large-scale M&A integration initiatives across North America. This is a hands-on field role requiring extensive travel and the ability to work independently in fast-paced customer environments.
The ideal candidate will provide onsite desktop support, assist with network cutovers, perform post-migration validation activities, and serve as the local technical resource during Day 0/Day 1 integration events.
Key Responsibilities
End User & Desktop Support (60%)
- Support acquired company users during integration and cutover activities.
- Perform Day 0/Day 1 onsite technical support.
- Troubleshoot workstation, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Reconfigure IP addresses and network settings.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot printers and drivers.
- Validate user access, system functionality, and connectivity.
- Resolve post-cutover issues and provide technical assistance.
Network Cutover Support (40%)
- Assist with corporate network integration projects.
- Rack and stack network switches and infrastructure equipment.
- Support onsite network migration and cutover activities.
- Coordinate with network engineers and project managers during deployments.
- Execute technical tasks according to established procedures and project plans.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong desktop support and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and end-user support.
- Knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, networking fundamentals, and printer management.
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure migrations or deployments.
- Ability to perform physical installation of networking equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Self-starter capable of working independently in the field.
- Ability to quickly learn new environments and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integrations.
- Experience with network cutovers and site migrations.
- Field services or onsite technical support background.
- Experience working with enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with switches, cabling, and network infrastructure.
Important Requirements
✅ Must be willing to travel 100% across North America
✅ Travel expenses reimbursed (travel time is unpaid)
✅ Initial onboarding and training will be onsite in Austin, TX
✅ Ability to support 3–6 cutovers per week across multiple locations
✅ Must be comfortable performing hands-on field work and working independently
