About this Role:


The Datacenter Program Manager (PM) is responsible for end-to-end coordination and execution of data center infrastructure programs, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, quality, safety, and customer standards.

The role acts as a primary coordination layer between field operations, client stakeholders, and internal delivery leadership, supporting large-scale deployments including compute, network, and facility infrastructure initiatives.

The PM is accountable for program execution, governance adherence, and operational cadence across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Execution & Delivery

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations across assigned data center programs
  • Track progress against SOW deliverables, milestones, and SLAs
  • Ensure all activities align with approved deployment scope and timelines
  • Support execution of:
  • High-density compute rack deployments
  • Network infrastructure installation
  • Structured cabling
  • Break/fix and lifecycle operations

2. Field Coordination & Workforce Management

  • Coordinate with site leads, supervisors, and technician crews
  • Monitor workforce productivity, utilization, and schedule adherence
  • Ensure alignment between planned vs. actual execution in the field
  • Escalate staffing or performance gaps to leadership

3. Operational Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all work follows approved:
  • Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Support audit readiness and compliance tracking across programs

4. Program Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain program tracking artifacts:
  • Schedules (MS Project / Smartsheet)
  • Status reports (daily/weekly)
  • Risk and issue logs
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on:
  • Progress vs plan
  • Risks and mitigation plans
  • Key operational metrics

5. Risk, Issue & Escalation Management

  • Identify delivery risks and operational bottlenecks early
  • Drive mitigation plans across cross-functional teams
  • Escalate critical issues to Senior leadership as needed
  • Support structured governance and escalation processes

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a coordination point between:
  • Client stakeholders
  • Internal delivery leadership
  • Field execution teams
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across all parties
  • Support QBRs, operational reviews, and status cadences

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve:
  • Deployment efficiency
  • Operational processes
  • Resource utilization
  • Contribute to standardization of delivery practices and playbooks

Required Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years of program/project management experience
  • Experience in:
  • Data center operations or infrastructure deployments
  • Technical delivery environments (cloud, networking, or hardware)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Multi-workstream program coordination
  • Field operations / on-site deployments
  • Proficiency with tools such as:
  • Microsoft Project
  • Smartsheet
  • Excel / dashboarding tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center environments (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Google)
  • Familiarity with GPU / AI infrastructure deployments
  • Knowledge of SOW-based delivery models and vendor-managed services
  • Exposure to:
  • Rack & stack operations
  • Structured cabling
  • Network rollouts
