Immediately Hiring: Cutting Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Fed Cutting Operator who is skilled in performing make readies and operating cutting machinery. Candidates should have experience with equipment similar to Iberica, Bobst 142, Bobst 145, and Bobst 102. The role involves proper press maintenance, lubrication, daily quality checklist completion, and recording time and materials usage in SAP and PEAK. Additionally, you will disassemble machines to perform minor repairs or replace worn parts using hand tools. Responsibilities also include assisting temporary employees with task assignments while reinforcing SQF standards and maintaining core values. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors or managers, and maintaining a clean and orderly building is essential.

Work Environment
The facility is not climate-controlled and operates 24/7 with approximately 170 employees and 30 temporary workers. Steel toe boots are required, and the company provides gloves, ear plugs, and safety glasses. Safety is a top priority, and there is an opportunity for overtime. The shift operates from 7pm-7am on a rotating schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off). Training occurs on the first shift for 4-8 weeks.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
