Job Overview

We are expanding our presence in the woodworking industry and are seeking motivated General Assemblers to join our growing team. This role focuses on assembling wood containers, crates, and platforms in a high‑volume production environment. Employees have opportunities to advance into custom assembly and machine operator roles as skills develop.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble wood containers, crates, and platforms according to specifications
  • Use hand and power tools including nail guns, measuring tools, staplers, and basic cutting saws
  • Read and measure materials accurately using a tape measure
  • Stand for the duration of the shift while maintaining consistent productivity
  • Lift up to 75 lbs as needed
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality standards
  • Follow safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines

Required Skills
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Proficiency with nail guns and measuring tools
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Basic experience using saws
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in assembly, carpentry, construction, or woodworking
  • Nail gun or building experience
  • Forklift operation experience (a plus, not required)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
