This is an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in managing customs clearance for air and ocean imports. You will interact closely with clients, streamline logistics processes, and ensure all import operations comply with regulatory requirements, contributing directly to smooth international trade flows.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation for air and ocean import shipments using CargoWise.
  • Ensure full compliance with current air and ocean import regulations and remain updated on industry best practices.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating clear communication between clients and customs authorities.
  • Maintain, update, and monitor shipping records for all shipments using Excel and CargoWise, providing real-time status updates to internal teams and clients.
  • Generate and process billing documents related to import duties, fees, and other customs-related charges.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service, proactively resolving client issues and supporting a seamless customs process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and enhance the efficiency of customs entry procedures.


Must-Have Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience with CargoWise in customs entry operations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customs entry writing for air and/or ocean imports.
  • Strong knowledge of import regulations, classification, and tariff procedures.
  • Proficient in using Excel for managing and updating shipping documentation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Certification in customs brokerage or import/export logistics.
  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation requirements.
