Role Overview

This role will primarily manage all customer support communication through platforms such as Gorgias and Shopify Inbox. The Customer Service Specialist will assist customers with order issues, refunds, replacements, and general inquiries.

Because we are a startup, this role will also work closely with our warehouse manager and fulfillment team to ensure orders are processed smoothly and customer issues are resolved quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Respond to customer support tickets through Gorgias and Shopify Inbox
  • Resolve customer questions regarding orders, products, shipping, and returns
  • Process refunds, replacements, and order corrections

Operations Coordination

  • Communicate directly with the warehouse manager regarding order issues
  • Coordinate replacements and fixes with the warehouse team
  • Monitor delayed shipments or fulfillment problems

Customer Experience Improvement

  • Maintain and improve customer service macros
  • Identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback to the team
  • Help improve the customer support workflow

Warehouse Support (Startup Environment)

  • Assist warehouse team during busy fulfillment periods if needed
  • Support packing and shipping operations when required
  • Help ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with support tools such as Gorgias or Shopify
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Team player willing to help wherever needed
