What We’re Seeking

Morning Walk is seeking a dynamic and growth-minded CRM & Lifestyle Marketing Specialist to join our Performance Marketing Data & CRM team in Chicago or Milwaukee - This is a hybrid role with the most incredible team! We work in-office on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays, and Tuesday and Fridays you have the option to work from home.


The CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist who can own the day-to-day strategy and execution of customer lifecycle programs across multiple B2C/B2B clients. Your primary platform will be Salesforce Marketing Cloud (now Agentforce Marketing), but you’ll also work in Braze. What You’ll Be Doing


Automotive Client - Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Agentforce Marketing

You’ll lead lifecycle CRM strategy and execution for a major automotive brand that is migrating to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (Agentforce Marketing), alongside a new Agentforce Commerce (formerly Commerce Cloud) e-commerce build. Lifecycle is new for this brand, and this is a great opportunity to start from the ground up. This is primarily a B2C audience with potential for B2B in the future.


  • Build and manage lifecycle journeys, automated campaigns, and triggered communications using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies using SQL queries and data extensions to deliver the right message to the right customer at the right time.
  • Create and personalize email content using AMPscript and dynamic content blocks.
  • Collaborate with the broader team on how CRM integrates with the new Agentforce Commerce storefront, ensuring clean data flow between commerce and marketing.
  • Work within Salesforce’s evolving AI ecosystem including Agentforce AI agents, Marketing Cloud Next, and Data 360. Identify opportunities for smarter automation, personalization, and campaign optimization.
  • Own campaign QA including rendering tests, data validation, link checks, and deliverability monitoring.
  • Report on performance across lifecycle programs and use those insights to optimize engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Engage with and report to internal agency and external client and partner stakeholders. This is a client-facing role.


Travel & Hospitality Client - Braze

You’ll also support lifecycle marketing for a Morning Walk client in the travel and hospitality space, operating on the Braze platform across both B2C and B2B audiences. Lifecycle is early for this brand, and you’ll be a part of maturing it in a few dedicated areas for the organization.


  • Lead strategy within a defined workspace.
  • Execute and optimize campaigns across email, SMS, and other channels within Braze.
  • Build audience segments and triggered flows using Braze’s campaign and Canvas tools.
  • Work within Braze’s evolving AI ecosystem to suggest new ways of working & optimization within the platform.
  • Apply your lifecycle marketing fundamentals across a different platform, proving that great CRM thinking is tool-agnostic.
  • Engage with and report to internal agency and external client and partner stakeholders. This is a client-facing role.


Across Both Clients

  • Partners with strategists, creatives, and account leads to translate marketing objectives into CRM execution plans.
  • Build and maintain testing frameworks (A/B subject lines, send times, content, journeys) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on platform updates, deliverability best practices, and data privacy compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).
  • Explore and apply emerging AI-powered capabilities, such as Agentforce agents for campaign creation, journey decisioning, and real-time personalization — to keep our clients at the leading edge.
  • Document processes, playbooks, and learnings so the team gets smarter together.


Experience/Qualifications/Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a CRM or similar role delivering multi-channel, data-driven campaigns using marketing automation tools.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) proficiency, including core platform capabilities; familiarity with Agentforce Marketing ecosystem is a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills for data segmentation, querying, and transformations within SFMC.
  • Experience with AMPscript for email personalization and dynamic content.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development and troubleshooting rendering issues.
  • Solid understanding of email deliverability, including sender reputation, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), list hygiene, and inbox placement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign and customer journey data.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical CRM concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms and technologies.


Preferred Experience

  • Focus on campaign development for B2C environments.
  • Foundational to intermediate proficiency in HTML and CSS.
  • Exposure to AI-powered analytics platforms for generating business insights.
  • Creative and strategic mindset for developing communication and content strategies.
  • Strong sense of ownership, critical thinking, and curiosity.
  • Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
