The Creative Services Coordinator is an early-career, hybrid role supporting creative development, vendor coordination, and event production logistics.

This role supports Spark’s program lifecycle through proposal development, vendor coordination, project follow-through, on-site event support, and brand-aligned content capture.

You are a detail-oriented team player with a strong visual eye and an interest in how ideas move from concept to execution. This position works in close support of both the Director of Destination Experiences and the Director of Event Design, helping ensure that proposals are built clearly and programs are carried through with accuracy.

• Build and format client proposals in Canva aligned with Spark By Design’s brand
• Write compelling, on-brand descriptions for venues, vendors, and experiences
• Assist in developing mood boards, design decks, and presentation materials
• Maintain consistency in visual presentation and written tone

• Research venues, entertainment, décor, and experience partners
• Gather pricing, availability, and assets to support proposal development

·      Maintain accuracy across proposals, Event Cost Sheets, and internal tracking tools

·      Place and review orders, coordinate pickups and deliveries with vendors

·      Assist with internal systems updates in Spark’s systems  and shared files

·     Assist with event installation, styling, vendor coordination, and strike

·     Support production documents, schedules, and project updates

·     Ensure design details are executed according to plan

·     Capture behind-the-scenes and event-day content to support Spark’s social media and marketing efforts

·     Visually aware with a strong eye for layout, detail, and presentation

·     Organized and able to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously

·     A clear and professional communicator (written and verbal)

·     Interested in both creative development and operational execution

·     Comfortable working in fast-paced, event-driven environments

·     A collaborative team player who is willing to step in wherever needed

• 1–3 years experience in events, design, hospitality, marketing, or related field
• Proficiency in Canva required (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
• Comfortable capturing and editing content via mobile device
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Experience with Monday.com or similar project tools preferred
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and assist with physical event work
• Represent Spark at networking events, site visits, and industry functions
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Entry-level to early-career position with strong growth potential
• Hybrid: office work, on-site events, and regional travel
• Growth path into Creative, Planning, or Operations roles within Spark By Design

This position would be based in Charlotte, NC at the Spark By Design headquarters. Spark operates events in a variety of premier destinations, including:

- Charlotte Metro: Concord, Mooresville

- Blue Ridge Mountains: Asheville, Boone, Gatlinburg (TN), Roanoke (VA)

- Triad Region: Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point

- Triangle Region: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill

- Coastal Areas: Wilmington, Outer Banks

- Upstate South Carolina: Greenville, Spartanburg
