A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to support a busy civil litigation practice. This role offers hands-on experience across all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through resolution, and is ideal for an attorney looking to further develop their litigation skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior attorneys in managing civil litigation matters from initial investigation through resolution
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on litigation strategy, legal issues, and case evaluation
  • Support motion practice, including drafting pleadings, motions, responses, and court filings
  • Assist with discovery, including drafting written discovery, reviewing document productions, and preparing responses
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and assist with preparation for mediation, arbitration, and trial
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other stakeholders
  • Support case evaluation and factual investigations
  • Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines in compliance with court rules and firm procedures


Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active Arizona State Bar membership in good standing

Experience

  • 3–5 years of civil litigation experience
  • Experience in personal injury, commercial litigation, or related practice areas preferred
  • Exposure to motion practice, discovery, and case preparation
  • Experience with mediation, arbitration, or trial preparation is a plus



Compensation and Benefits:

  • $200,000 - $250,000 (based on experience)
  • Discretionary bonus (based on performance)
