Controller
TEAL Staffing is vetting direct hire Controller candidates for a PE backed fitness company based in Roswell, GA. This client is seeking a Controller to build its back office as it scales nationally through its franchise model.
Room for advancement, possibility to move into a CFO role as you grow with the company.
• This role will eventually manage and mentor one to 2 staff
• Corporate office has a team of 14.
• Role will report to the COO (they currently have a fractional CFO)
• Client wants an energetic, hands on Controller experienced with scaling a business that plans to double in size within the next year.
o Lead building financial and operational metrics/KPI's/management reporting to help
the leadership team navigate its growth, build processes around the back office.
o Perform month end close, account reconciliations, financial analysis, manage
Accounts Payable, review Payroll from 3rd party provider, etc.
• QBO experience a nice to have.
• CPA preferred but not required
o strong Controller and accounting background is required
• Location must be close to Corp HQ in Roswell, GA.
o Hybrid WFH and in office
• Top 3-5 traits or skills
o Proven experience scaling a multi-unit or franchise business - nice to have
o Strong ownership mindset
o Build reporting process, reporting, KPIs, oversee annual audit
o Ability to translate financials into business insights for leadership
o Solid systems thinker (QBO + future ERP transition mindset)
