Objective:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Contract Analyst / Contract Specialist to support a fast-paced Pharmaceutical team across multiple therapeutic areas, including GI, Autoantibody, and Rare Disease portfolios. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring contracts are executed efficiently to support HEOR, pre-launch market access, and healthcare entity engagements.
This is an urgent, high-impact need tied directly to ongoing GI programs and broader pipeline initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end contract lifecycle management across multiple workstreams
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to drive timely contract execution aligned to data readout and launch timelines
- Review, draft, and redline contracts, ensuring alignment with compliance and legal standards
- Act as a bridge between business, legal, and compliance, translating operational needs into contract language
- Support engagements with: Large academic institutions, Healthcare systems and community centers, GPOs and super groups, and Data & IT vendors
- Identify and proactively mitigate contract delays impacting program delivery
- Ensure contracts are executed in time to support HEOR studies and pre-launch market access initiatives
- Track and manage multiple contracts simultaneously, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of contract management experience within life sciences (pharma strongly preferred)
- Strong background in contract drafting, review, and redlining
- Experience supporting HEOR, market access, or clinical/vendor contracts
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive contracting workflows
- Familiarity with large healthcare entities (academic centers, GPOs, vendors)
- Ability to interpret and apply legal and compliance frameworks in a business context
Preferred Background
- Paralegal or legal-focused experience with strong understanding of contractual language and risk
- Experience acting as a contract SME embedded within business teams
- Exposure to data/vendor agreements and healthcare system partnerships
