The Technician will support remediation work that includes construction tasks such as clearing and grubbing, installation of erosion control materials, soil excavation, grading, dewatering, backfilling, truck scaling, equipment decontamination, and restoration efforts. The technician will assist in spotting equipment operators, perform torch cutting on steel, and handle general labor tasks on the work site, including carrying materials, dirt work, and shoveling material.

Work Environment
This is an outdoor construction environment exposed to various weather conditions, including extreme heat and potential cool weather. Workers should be prepared to work in wet conditions. The environment is dirty, requiring experience in similar settings. Dress attire includes steel toe boots, jeans without holes, and a shirt with sleeves. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday with a start time ranging from 5-7 am, lasting for 10-12 hour days. Saturday work is possible and expected. When working out of town, expect 50-60+ hours per week. The minimum work week is 40 hours with 5-20 overtime hours, decreasing to 5-10 overtime hours during winter.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
