- 3:00 pm-12:30 pm
Currently working OT on Fridays and/or Saturdays
Job Description
As a Composite Technician, you will assist in preparing molds and forms, marking, and cutting materials such as tape, woven material, honeycomb, and adhesive. You will perform tasks like drilling, trimming, and sanding to blueprint dimensions and tolerances. Your role will include operating a vacuum press, assisting in composite material lay-up, and ensuring smooth build-up free from wrinkles and voids. You will also develop shop aids, assemble aircraft components, prepare surfaces for painting, and apply coatings using a spray gun. Quality assurance is a priority, and you will maintain records, verify material quality, and ensure a safe working environment.

Work Environment
The work environment is loud, requiring the use of various technical equipment and tools such as grinders, saws, and sanders. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting, cutting carbon fiber parts, and using adhesives. The technician will receive assignments from a lead and work independently or with guidance as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.41 - $20.41/hr.
