Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Conveoyr System Maintenace Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. This position offers the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while also mentoring junior technicians to help them grow in their roles.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills.
• Conduct maintenance supervision and risk management.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Work with sorters and robotics.

Essential Skills

• Experience with conveyor systems and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of maintenance management and preventative maintenance planning.
• Understanding of automation, control systems, and data analysis.
• Skills in project management and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.
• 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of experience demonstrating safety standards.
• 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $71344.00 - $71344.00/yr.
