This role is primarily focused on administering and supporting physician compensation and payroll in a healthcare setting.
Ensure accurate and timely physician salary and payroll processing, administration, and support by maintaining HR/payroll databases and systems, interpreting and implementing pay policies, and responding to physician inquiries.
Conduct data analysis to support compensation recommendations and participate in compensation survey activities.
Collaborate with payroll, HR, compensation teams, and IT to resolve payroll issues, improve system functionality, and implement new compensation-related technologies or database enhancements.
Key Required Experience:
3–5 years of experience in administering and supporting physician compensation and payroll in a healthcare setting.
Experience and knowledge of specific systems is preferred: MD People, MDTRV, PHR Connect
Required Level of Education: High School minimum
Core Activities:
Administering/implementing pay practices and compensation programs for physicians
Data entry, accuracy review, and ongoing database management
Auditing and correcting payroll data, reconciling payroll discrepancies
Producing management and compensation analysis reports
Communicating payroll policies and compensation details to physicians and leadership
Supporting system upgrades, troubleshooting database/program issues, and partnering with IT for technical improvements
