Financial Data Analyst

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Data Analyst to support a large and diverse customer base by analyzing public procurement spend and identifying opportunities to drive growth through strategic purchasing initiatives. This role plays a critical part in evaluating financial data, uncovering market trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations that increase market share and revenue.


The Financial Data Analyst is a key contributor within a fast-paced, team-oriented, and highly collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

Financial Data Analysis, Benchmarking & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze large volumes of internal and external financial and pricing data related to goods and services
  • Identify trends, variances, and actionable insights to inform strategic recommendations
  • Translate pricing and spend data into revenue-generating opportunities
  • Support market intelligence initiatives that contribute to increasing market share

Reporting & Data Communication

  • Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and data-driven reports focused on top-line revenue, projections, and budgets
  • Communicate complex financial analyses in a way that is easily understood by stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
  • Deliver insights that directly support revenue and strategic planning decisions

Continuous Improvement & Operational Efficiency

  • Evaluate organizational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas of non–value-added work
  • Propose and support solutions that improve analytical workflows and operational effectiveness
  • Carry initiatives through to completion, resulting in measurable process and performance improvements

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Support

  • Partner effectively with teams across the organization to support evolving initiatives and strategic priorities
  • Provide analytical support for special projects aligned with organizational goals
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance required
  • 1–3 years of FP&A experience within a high-volume, business-to-business environment
  • Strong experience conducting deep research and advanced financial analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and produce written recommendations that inform decision-making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills (charts, graphs, data analysis)
