Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate purchase contracts, leases, easements, loan documents, and related real estate agreements
- Conduct due diligence on commercial transactions including title and survey review
- Prepare organizational and governing documents in connection with real estate deals
- Review and issue title commitments and title insurance policies on behalf of nationally recognized title companies
- Facilitate and manage the closing process for commercial real estate transactions
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements throughout all phases of a transaction
- Stay current on Florida real estate laws, regulations, and market trends
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and real estate professionals to advance client objectives
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of commercial real estate experience
- Strong transactional instincts with solid knowledge of contracts, title, and property law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
What We Offer
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
