Commercial Loan Officer

Seeking a Commercial Loan Professional who will have GREAT advancement potential. Our client, Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, has been in business for over 82 years. The credit union has opened a new office in Fort Wayne in The Harrison with a patio that is adjacent to the outfield of the Tin Caps Stadium! An Amazing Location! Reporting to the Fort Wayne Market President as Commercial Loan Officer you will have a GREAT career path when the current Fort Wayne President retires.

You will:

• Have primary responsibility for achieving or exceeding Credit Union's commercial lending goals including originating, underwriting, documenting, and monitoring loans for and in the commercial loan portfolio.
• Understand and effectively apply commercial loan policies as well as evaluate and proactively respond to changes in regulatory, market, and competitive conditions with the ability to communicate changes, policies, etc. to staff.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of commercial lending field including structuring, underwriting, and documenting commercial loan transactions.
• Maintain awareness of commercial lending field, including government regulation, commercial needs and preferences, and relationship-enhancements.
• Participate in community affairs to increase Credit Union's visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.

To be a standout candidate for this opportunity, your background will include:

• A Bachelor's degree
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial/Relationship Lending with a sales focus on companies whose revenue in the $1-10M range
• Strong sales acumen and track record of building relationships
• Strong analytical skills
• Solid problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including outstanding presentation skills
